Services Long Term Evolution (LTE) and the first commercial in the world’s largest previously claimed to have been launched by TeliaSonera and Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden.
As if not to be outdone, the telecommunications operators in the United States, AT & T, is now also preparing to release digadang Service staying as the format of this 4G technology.
After conducting extensive testing of devices from various suppliers in the laboratory and in the field, AT & T chose to continue the cooperation with Ericsson to implement LTE.
As part of the long-term agreement, Ericsson to supply LTE network equipment as well as a series of services in design, deploy, and optimize the LTE network.
AT & T plans to conduct field trials for LTE technology by the end of 2010 and its commercial implementation is scheduled to begin in 2011.
“AT & T has an important advantage in that LTE is an evolution of GSM technology to support our network and the majority of wireless infrastructure in the world today,” said John Stankey, president & CEO, AT & T Operations in his statement on Saturday (13/2/2010).
AT & T itself has served more than 85.1 million subscribers and has seen the growth of mobile broadband to reach 5000 percent in the last three years. Smartphones just be one example of innovation resulting from investment in broadband technology
